Help Our Cause

Hill City United Methodist Church is working together with church members and industry experts to develop a plan to expand our church.   "Brick by Brick" is a capital campaign to raise funds to make improvements to Hill City United Methodist Church. The brick building is a local landmark and it is our hope to make the building handicap accessible by adding a lift, a new ground floor restroom, and gathering space on the west side of our building. 

Our beautiful church, built in 1951, has been modified over the years, but not enough to meet the needs of our community.  There are challenges with accessibility related to the multiple levels of the building and the bathrooms, in addition to overall issues related to the age of the church.

Church leaders voted to hire local experts from Hawk Construction to provide support.  They are helping to define a scope of work, identify challenges, develop design, and provide insights on the potential costs of the project.

We hosted several open house meetings with our church and community members to garner feedback on plans for the building as well as the future of the church itself.

This project is in the beginning stages of development.  There will be opportunities to share more drawings and information in the weeks and months ahead.  This project has many steps, including planning, designing, costing, fund raising, and more before it will be completed.  However, with your support we can bring this project home.
